Wow, long time
I didn't even know if this weblog would still be here. It's been almost a year. I have a new laptop though, so maybe, just maybe I can start it up again. I liked having it. We still don't have internet access, but maybe if I make frequent enough trips to town...

Back in Town
Life for the past few months...

Had to move to see an oriole!
Apple blossom time...it's been amazing to see what blooms each week.
The rhubarb patch behind the barn.
Leo our barn cat......and of course two weddings.
On February 17th, we gained a daughter...Andy and Megan were married in Kansas City.
And then on May 17th, we gained a son, Elijah and Betsy were married in Manns Choice, PA and had the reception at our home.

New photo blog
I'm not sure if anyone really comes here anymore. I wasn't going to go 'public' with my other blog site, but first I gave it to one of my young friends, then another...I guess I might as well post it here. I'm supposed to take a picture a day for it...but it's not working out that way. But I am at least taking pictures consistently. So if you are interested, here's the link.

I took this picture from the door in our kitchen...a window door. I really liked the way the light was hitting this buck. I told my brother, who was out hunting, that I shot a deer. He asked if I had it hung yet, and I said 'not yet, but I'm thinking of hanging him on my wall.' There are so many little good gifts in life. I pray that I will be thankful and grateful for each one and not come to think of them as my due.
